Favorite websites

My favorite websites are the places I keep coming back to whether I am eager to learn something new, find inspiration, or handle things quickly and efficiently. On this page, I’m collecting them all in one spot so I can easily find them whenever I need them. For each website, I’ll add a short note about why I like it and what I use it for.

Please note: the links on this page include my referral link, which means that when you click on them and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps support my work and allows me to continue providing high-quality content and resources. I genuinely appreciate your support, and I encourage you to check out the products I recommend, as I have carefully chosen them based on their value and benefits.

Finance websites

Payoneer

Depending on where you live, you might not have access to payment options like PayPal or Stripe. That’s where a website like Payoneer is beneficial. Through Payoneer you can have access to making and receiving payments, and you also can apply for their Mastercard debit card in USD or EUR.

Zoho Books

Zoho Books is an online accounting software designed for small to medium-sized businesses. It offers various features that make managing finances and bookkeeping easy. Key features include invoicing, bank account integration (currently, Surinamese banks cannot be added, and Patreon for Suriname), expense tracking, inventory management, reporting, and integrations with other software such as CRM systems and e-commerce platforms.

Freelance websites

Here is an overview of my favorite freelancing websites that have various payment options from Paypal to Payoneer.

Fiverr

Fiverr is one of my favorite platforms for selling freelance services in a clear, structured way. You can create “gigs” that showcase exactly what you offer, attract clients from all over the world, and build a steady flow of projects—whether you’re doing one-off tasks or long-term work. It’s a great place to grow your portfolio, set your own packages, and scale your freelance business at your own pace.

They offer payments to freelancers through:

  • Direct to local bank (available in many countries; typically easiest if supported where you live)
  • PayPal (availability depends on country)
  • Payoneer (availability depends on country; may include card options in some regions)

Upwork

Upwork is one of my favorite platforms for finding quality freelance work and connecting with clients worldwide. It’s a great place to showcase your skills, build long-term collaborations, and get paid securely all in one spot. They offer payments to freelancers through:

  • Direct to local bank (available in many countries; typically easiest if supported where you live)
  • Wire transfer (often higher fees; good for larger amounts)
  • PayPal (availability depends on country)
  • Payoneer (availability depends on country; may include card options in some regions)
  • Upwork card (availability varies; not offered everywhere)

Marketing websites

Publer

Publer is a user-friendly tool that helps you manage your social media more efficiently (and with less stress). Instead of posting manually on every platform, you can plan everything ahead from one clear dashboard. You create your content, choose a date and time, and Publer publishes it automatically for you on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and more. It’s ideal if you want to stay consistently visible, save time, and still keep full control over what goes online.
